About the Role
Join our growing team in Darwin on a 12 months contract part time or full time basis with opportunity to renew working Monday to Friday hours. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support for the business. You will have various administration duties and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the planning, developing and maintaining rosters
- Community Care and Supported Independent Living programs including allocating and rostering staff to visit clients in their own homes, to support clients with appointments, in accessing the community, living safely and independently, or provide centre based services
- Matching care workers with clients (in liaison with coordinators/managers)
- Create and maintain client and employee profiles including compliance
- Work with computerised rostering systems such as Brevity, including data entry
- Approval of time sheets against roster and assist with processing of payroll
- Work with management to fill roster vacancies and meet client needs
- Creation of quotes and service agreements
- Onboarding of new team members
- Responsible for telephone/office point of contact for the business
- Set up of new equipment such as mobile phones, laptops and printers
- Maintenance of electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with debtors, creditors & reconciling accounts
- Maintaining finance and spend records of accounts
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Handling external or internal communication or management systems
- Maintaining a clean and qualified working environment
- Provide any required office support to the team
- Attend meetings as requested
- Maintenance of asset registers
- Coordination of asset maintenance including company housing, vehicles and equipment
- Coordination of marketing and advertising (including social media pages and website)
Skills & Experience
- Cert 3 in Business Administration or Administration (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience of working in an administration and/or scheduling role in a human services organisation
- Demonstrated experience in delivery of services to people with a disability
- Strong customer service focus and coordination skills
- Professional approach when dealing with stakeholders in person, on telephone and over email
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in a residential care setting
- The ability to contribute positively within a team
- NDIS knowledge and awareness
- Completion of NDIS mandatory orientation module
- Availability to work weekly Monday to Friday (part time 8:30am - 2:00pm with half an hour break or full time 8am to 4:30pm)
- Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening.
