Principal Game Designer
**Summary**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Oz Games Studio, one of Aristocrat's premier game development studios, working with a world class games design team producing games for a global audience.
You will be a 'hands on' individual contributor who can develop and produce high quality math models; working collaboratively within a team environment and under direction to achieve outcomes and to support the delivery of successful games.
**What You'll Do**:
- Innovate - Think of new games and features to entertain our customers.
- Partner - Work with all your creative colleagues in software development and art to create leading global content.
- Math - Create game specifications and mathematics for new game concepts and products.
- Bring it to life - Oversee the development of new game concepts by working with other departments such as sales and marketing to ensure your hunches are right for new games.
- Mentor others - Take the time to test your colleagues with puzzles and math models for games.
- Ensure QA procedures for games are met.All other duties as assigned.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Minimum 5+ years game design experience.
- Proven track record of developing successful game concepts.
- An ability to write programs in C or C++ programming language.
- Mathematical or Science degree.
- Experience in game design for slots essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and soft skills.
- Be able to work independently and be team oriented.
- Casino gaming industry experience essential
