Defence and National Security Leader
As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for spearheading defence and national security initiatives, driving strategic growth and technological advancements in the cloud sector. This role will require you to develop and execute digital engineering strategies, leveraging cutting-edge solutions to enhance national security capabilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation, leading a high-performing team of digital engineers and consultants to deliver tailored solutions for defence and national security clients.
* Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their unique challenges and delivering bespoke solutions that meet their needs.
* Cloud Solutions: Drive the adoption of sovereign, classified cloud technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Team Development: Grow and mentor a team of experts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
* Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the defence and national security landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
* Project Oversight: Oversee the delivery of complex digital engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in technology strategy, architecture, with a strong focus on defence and national security; experience in cloud technologies is essential.
* Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading teams, building organisational capabilities, sales, and managing large-scale projects in a consulting environment.
* Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of digital engineering principles, cloud architectures, and technologies relevant to defence and national security.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
* Security Clearance: Must hold a Top Secret Positive vetted security clearance as required by market sector, ideally with OSA.
