Food Services Assistants (Casual)

About the Role
Rumbalara Elders Care Facility are seeking energetic and enthusiastic community members to fill casual positions at our 30 bed Aged Care Facility. You will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the quality of life of our Elders.
The Food Services Assistant responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with preparation tasks, and helping with the serving Elders their meals.
This role operates on a seven-day roster, which includes weekend shifts where applicable.
Immediate start for suitable candidates - Training can be provided.
Must have willingness to learn and a commitment to providing a culturally safe environment for our Elders.
About You
To be successful, you must have the following knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Registrations:
* Certificate in Food Hygiene for Food Handlers or equivalent in aged care industry, or willing to obtain.
Knowledge and skills:
* Good communication skills, written and verbal
* Mature outlook with the ability to relate with older people.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
* Ability to commitment to working as part of the team.
* The ability to work alone or within a team.
* Ability to work within the culture of Rumbalara Elders Facility ("the facility").
