The Role Reporting directly to the CFO your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Manage the recording of investment and other transactions in Xero of multiple entities, including fractional investment interests. Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations of multiple entities within the group, in various currencies. Undertake inter-entity loan reconciliations. Update market values of investments across classes and entities. Balance sheet reconciliations, including month end, quarter end and year end assistance. Data extraction, review, manipulation and analysis for management reporting purposes. Liaising with other members of the Finance Team and Investment Team to understand significant transactions, investment commitments, investment performance, explore variances and other matters. Assist with preparation of 1 monthly management report and 5 quarterly management reports, including drafting commentary, summary tables, bespoke excel reports, etc. Assist with preparation of other reporting requirements of the group as required. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will: be tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree have aspirations to complete or be part way through your CA / CPA possess 2-3 years professional experience as well as basic knowledge of accounting standards. ideally have experience working within a professional services business have proficient experience using MS Excel have exceptional communication skills have proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential
