The Employment Incentives and Pathways team delivers a range of incentives, scholarships, grants, bursaries, training and pathways programs which contribute towards increasing the supply of teachers across Queensland.
The team is currently recruiting for a Manager who will focus on the operational delivery of a number of these initiatives.
If you are passionate about the education of young people in Queensland and you have experience leading teams, managing budgets and preparing submissions, particularly in the government sector, we want to hear from you.

About The Role
As the Manager, you will:
* Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure human resource strategies are closely aligned with organisational objects and community expectations.
* Be accountable for the delivery of HR initiatives and the quality of HR services delivered to your respective internal customers.
Responsibilities Include
Reporting to the Director of Employment Incentives and Pathways, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and overseeing the daily operations of the scholarships and grants team.
* Reviewing and approving payments for scholarship and grants recipients.
* Preparing submissions, briefing notes and responses regarding your program of work.
* Overseeing and reporting on a substantial budget.
* Working with internal stakeholders regarding new initiatives in the scholarships and grants space.
* Working with external stakeholders from the University and Tafe sectors.
* Assisting to promote the initiatives at events and expos across Qld.
* Working closely with the Director to deliver newly developed incentives.
