Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking an AIN to join our Rehab Unit on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
About Us
Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
Responsibilities
* Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
* Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
Qualifications
* Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer
* Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
* Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired
