About the Role
The Spare Parts Interpreter is responsible for the interpretation and supply of parts to external customers. The incumbent will also be required to assist both the sales and service teams by procuring and providing pricings, parts and technical assistance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Interpret and supply parts for a wide range of equipment including forklifts, skid steer loaders, track loaders, tow tugs, elevated work platforms (EWPs), excavators, and sweeper/scrubbers
* Provide accurate pricing, parts information, and technical support to the sales and service teams
* Respond to customer enquiries, identify required parts, and coordinate timely dispatch
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and outstanding purchase orders
* Support workshop technicians with parts requests as required
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in parts interpreting and use of Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) systems
* Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreting) – desirable
* Knowledge of the material handling industry or similar sector – desirable
* Experience with ERP systems (Movex or SAP preferred) and intermediate computer skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to analyse information
* Proactive and well‐organised approach to work
* Strong customer service focus with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and staff at all levels
