Steamatic is a national leader in disaster recovery and restoration services, delivering solutions that save property and restore lives. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the Tasmania branch, based in Devonport.

About the Role
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with full accountability for branch smooth operations & performance. You will oversee operations, sales, people leadership, and financial outcomes, ensuring the branch delivers profitable growth and exceptional service to clients, insurers, and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full accountability and management of entire branch operations that includes but not limited to smooth flow of jobs, staff management, material & tools management, vehicle fleet management, contractor's compliance, coordination with administration team, industry relationships, budgets, and procurement of supplies in a timely manner.
* Leading, coaching, training and developing operational team, so right skills are available all the time for smooth flow of jobs.
* Develop Branch operations in a way that operations are run in a productive manner and customer needs are met with self-sufficiency.
* Build a quality management system in the branch that is compliant and fully satisfies the customer needs in a timely manner.
* Driving new business development and managing key insurance and commercial relationships
* Ensuring operational compliance, service standards, and WHS obligations in coordination with team based in Geelong & Gippsland (VIC).
* End to end project management
* Implementing business plans and growth strategies aligned to the company objectives
* Working closely with senior management and other Steamatic branches in Geelong & Gippsland
* Flexibility is required to meet the restoration industry demands that includes availabilities over the weekend (when needed), participate in the on-call roster and during major loss or disaster events.
About You
You are a commercially minded leader who thrives in fast-paced, service-driven environments and is comfortable balancing financial accountability with people leadership.
You will ideally bring:
* Proven experience in branch operations or business management
* Strong financial acumen, including budget and P&L management (ideal)
* Experience leading teams across entire horizon of operations
* Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships (insurance, loss adjusters, commercial clients)
* High levels of initiative, accountability, and decision-making capability
* Strong communication, reporting, coordination and organisational skills
* Experience in restoration, insurance services, construction, or trade-based environments will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
