About the position
The Library Technical Services Officer – Marketing and Promotions will work within a team to deliver both customer services and technical services to internal and external customers as well as develop and maintain the Library website and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide circulation services, including item loans/returns, new memberships, and customer support.
* Assist with research enquiries, reader advisory, and local history services.
* Support the planning and delivery of library programs, events, and staff training.
* Maintain library records, statistics, and databases.
* Contribute to acquisitions, cataloguing, and collection maintenance.
* Manage promotional content for the library's website, social media, and online tools.

About you
* Diploma of Library and Information Services (Library Technical Studies) or other qualifications recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association.
* Current Class C Driver's license and ability to drive a council vehicle.
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver small projects.
* Demonstrated ability to use an Integrated Library Management System.
