About the Role
This is a hands-on, workshop-based position where you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and testing specialized mineral sampling equipment. You’ll work closely with a small, experienced team to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and systems
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* Fault finding, maintenance, and repair of equipment
* Conducting testing and quality inspections
* Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
About You
* Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Machining, or similar
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Forklift ticket
Desirable Skills
* Experience with mining or mineral processing equipment
* Welding and fabrication experience
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
