Overview
Warehouse Stores / Workshop Administrator - Hydraulic Hose & Fittings
Total Connections is a well-established hydraulic servicing company with branches across the Goldfields, Perth, and the Pilbara. We're growing and looking for a proactive Warehouse Stores / Workshop Administrator to join our Kalgoorlie team. This is an all-round role. You'll work in the warehouse and handle the admin that keeps the workshop, suppliers, and customer orders moving. There is an opportunity to learn hydraulic hose assembly and build specialist product knowledge over time.
About the Role
You'll be the link between stores, workshop, purchasing, and sales support — helping the day run efficiently and making sure parts, paperwork and processes are under control.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick, pack and dispatch hydraulic hoses, fittings and components accurately
* Receive stock in, check deliveries, label/bin stock and maintain tidy stores areas
* Raise purchase orders, send to suppliers, and follow up lead times/backorders
* Track outstanding orders and keep the workshop updated with ETAs and priorities
* Process sales and admin tasks (counter/phone/email support, job paperwork, system updates)
* Liaise with suppliers, couriers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups
* Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, incorrect deliveries, and stock shortages
* Maintain accurate inventory, data entry and stock control in internal systems
* Support workshop workflow by ensuring technicians have required parts on time
* Assist with stocktakes/cycle counts and general day-to-day coordination
Opportunity to Learn & Grow
This role can develop into a long-term career path. You'll gain knowledge in:
* Hydraulic fittings, hose types, adaptors and component identification
* Parts interpretation and product selection support
* Hydraulic hose assembly (cutting, crimping, testing and tagging) if you want to learn
* Pathways into purchasing, internal sales, stores leadership, workshop coordination, or technical roles
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Is organised, reliable and takes pride in accuracy
* Enjoys variety — switching between hands-on stores work and admin tasks
* Communicates well with suppliers, customers and internal teams
* Is confident using Microsoft Office and happy learning new systems
* Can manage priorities and follow things through (orders, suppliers, paperwork)
* Has full Australian working rights
Helpful but not essential:
* Forklift licence
* Manual driver's licence
* Warehouse/stores experience, purchasing/admin experience, or exposure to parts/trade environments
What We Offer
* Full-time Monday to Friday with weekly pay
* Optional overtime (if desired)
* Supportive, team-focused workplace
* On-the-job training and real career progression
* Work in a specialised industry with valuable, transferable skills
Flexibility in the Role
We can shape the mix depending on what you're looking for — more stores/warehouse, more admin/purchasing/sales support, or a blended pathway with training into hose assembly and technical product knowledge.
Apply now and tell us what type of balance you're after (hands-on, admin, or both).
