We're looking for an experienced and proactive **Paralegal** to join our Legal team, providing critical legal and governance support across both operational and corporate portfolios, including:
- ** Retirement Living & Residential Aged Care**:
- ** Children, Youth & Family**:
- ** Home Care & Support Services**:
- ** Corporate Support Teams** - including Finance, People & Culture, Property, Risk, and ICT
**About the Role**
You'll work closely with the Legal Officer and Governance team to deliver legal services across Queensland and Victoria. Your work will include:
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, deeds, and MOUs
- Supporting the National Redress Scheme with compliance and case coordination
- Managing debt recovery matters, including court filings
- Conducting legal research and monitoring legislation relevant to our services
- Assisting with governance processes, board support, and regulatory documentation
Every day will offer something new — from aged care compliance and child protection legislation to supporting digital and property contracts.
**What You'll Bring**:
- 3-5 years' experience in legal support or paralegal work
- Strong knowledge of legal documentation and contract processes
- Experience working in a complex service-based or NFP organisation
- Degree in Law or studying PLT (preferred)
- Bonus: Experience in redress, personal injury, or board secretariat work
- Ability to obtain National Police Certificate and reference checks
