Our Graduate Environmental Scientist role offers a unique opportunity to work with our Environment & Geosciences team in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be part of a two-year graduate development program that includes exposure to mentoring and technical support.
Job Description
The Graduate Environmental Scientist will conduct environmental field surveys, laboratory and data analyses, and engage in technical and scientific reporting, approvals and permitting, geotechnical assessments, and/or contaminated site investigations.
You will also have the opportunity to communicate and engage with clients and become involved in business development activities. Contribute to proposal writing, budgeting, and project scheduling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Biology, Science, Coastal Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Resource Management, Ecology, Rehabilitation and Restoration Ecology, Environmental and Town Planning, Mechanical/Acoustic Engineering, Geology/Engineering Geology, Soil Science, Zoology, Botany, Marine Science, or related fields.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, passion for environmental science and/or geosciences, and associated disciplines.
* Must hold a current C class drivers' license.
* Eligible to work in Australia.
* Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation.
