- Venue trades mainly brunch and lunch with occasional evening functions to keep things interesting, functions and events are the biggest oppotuntiy for growth and thus success in the role.
- Owners are seeking a natural leader that is self-managed but able to take the venue foward and with thier support and guidance to achieve thier goal to be established as one of the Tweed Regions premier lunch and special event venues.
- Strong and easy to use operating systems for POS (Lightspeed), Rostering & wage control (Deputy) and reservations (Nowbookit). Training provided in all of these systems.
Pay & Incentives
- Package starting at 75k but as high as 90k including bonuses and super
- Starting salary may be reviewed after a sucessfull probation period and then annually.
- Generous incentives calculated on 6 month perfomance reviews, linked directly to revenue growth (particualry function sales), wage and COG's control, the venue's online review performance and the venue's maintenance and presentation standards. Clear, real and attainable KPI's will be outlined in advance.
You will
- Oversee daily operations 5 days per week, felxible 4 day weeks a possiblity once established.
- Deliver a truly excpetional standard of service through hands on leadership and direct contact with customers.
- Be present and on deck for all key service times and oversee all functions and events.
- Establish and maintian a harmonious and productive workplace culture through hands on leadership and training.
- Write rosters that deliver both service outcomes and wage control goals.
- Oversee beverage lists, closely control stock levels and beverage costs with monthly beverage sotcktakes.
- Update seasonal wines and cocktail menus that match the offering, market trends and achieve strict COG's
- Develop the FOH team though structured training plans and indvidual support.
- Oversee recrutiment, leave and succession plans, to ensure optimum teams at peak trading times and appropriate staffing levels at all times.
- Be a huge support for a small but skilled kitchen team.
- Learn to use and optimise existing operating systems.
- Innovate and problem solve with an clear goal for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a presentation standard of the venue, its surrounding enviroment and its staff that reflects this pristine and prestigious gallery.
- Be supported by gracious and engaged owners who have a combined 50 years hosptitality experience.
- Work a realistic and flexible week with no early starts and very few late nights.
