Your Role
The ISP Network Manager / Network Architect will work towards ensuring high network availability, delivering exceptional customer experience, and driving operational excellence within the Network Operations Center (NOC).
· Operate and maintain core network equipment in data-centres to ensure high availability and stability.
· Maintain and optimise BNG platforms, ensuring seamless subscriber onboarding and scalable IPoE/PPPoE session handling.
· Manage RADIUS, DHCP, and DNS systems for accurate authentication, reliable IP assignment, and robust AAA operations.
· Operate and optimise VMware ESXi infrastructure, maintaining HA clusters and reliable virtualised services.
· Oversee AWS cloud networking and hybrid integrations to ensure secure, stable connectivity with on-prem environments.
· Implement tools and processes to assure service quality and enhance end-user experience.
· Drive continuous improvements in network performance and customer satisfaction.
· Oversee, troubleshoot, and resolve network and system issues within SLAs.
· Manage updates, upgrades, and integrations of new technologies to improve performance and reliability.
· Provide advanced technical support to customer service and NOC teams.
· Ensure security and integrity of core network and systems, maintaining regulatory and policy compliance.
· Conduct audits and risk assessments, implementing preventive measures to mitigate vulnerabilities.
You will have:
* 8-10+ years of experience in network design, operations and maintenance.
* Hands-on experience with ISP infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, optical transport).
* Strong expertise in:
* IP networking (IPv4/IPv6), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS.
* Network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
* Incident management and ITIL processes.
* Automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible).
* Cloud networking technologies.
* Preferred professional certifications: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent.
* High level of initiative, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and provide support during off-hours when necessary.
