About the Role: Based in Fortitude Valley, this role oversees various aspects of financial administration in collaboration with a team of accountants for the Brisbane retail businesses. Working closely with Queensland and National Heads of Finance, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and statutory policies and regulations, providing accurate, timely information to the senior team, external auditors, and the finance department on all aspects of the business's performance. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage the Accounts Payable function, ensuring the prompt entry of invoices and payment within terms, along with ensuring correct authorization of invoices in line with the LOA's. Manage the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring the timely collection of debts and reporting on the status of receivables, including resolution of aged debts and assessment of risk factors. Regularly review credit limits and assess new customers. Manage the Deal Processing Team, ensuring the timely processing of deals and accuracy of deal input. To be successful in this role, you will have: A relevant tertiary education business degree. Demonstrated experience within the motor industry or a similar sector. A strong financial/commercial background and understanding. Extensive financial accounting knowledge, both principle and practice.
