About the Role
Lead and scale a national division within an iconic Australian retail brand, reporting directly to the CEO with full P&L ownership.
This is a true business leadership role with full accountability for the performance, growth, and strategic direction of the Pool & Spa Division.
Reporting to the CEO, you will own the division’s P&L, drive national growth, and execute both the annual business plan and long-term strategy across a retail and franchise network.
Responsibilities
* Own and deliver P&L performance and financial outcomes
* Set and execute the strategic and annual business plans
* Drive sales growth, margin improvement, and cost control
* Lead network expansion, including new stores and mobile service franchises
* Own franchise performance, compliance, and standards
* Oversee buying, product strategy, and supplier relationships
* Lead marketing initiatives to drive sales and customer growth
* Build capability across the network, including technician recruitment and development
* Provide monthly and quarterly performance reporting to the CEO
* Lead and develop a high-performing team
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading a retail, franchise, or multi-site business at a senior level
* Proven experience in a service business, with mobile service operations
* Strong track record of P&L ownership and delivering commercial outcomes
* Experience driving growth, expansion, and operational performance
* Background in merchandise, buying, or category management
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing capability
* Commercially astute, analytical, and results-driven
* Pool & Spa industry experience is preferred but not essential
