Full Time Nanny/ House Manager in Redfern
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Term: Ongoing – Long Term
Pay: $45 per hour depending on experience
Days and Hours: Mon – Fri 40 hours per week. The Nanny must be flexible to work different hours throughout the week.
A professional and caring family in Redfern are looking for a reliable Nanny / House Manager to care for their two sons aged 5yrs and 3yrs old and assist with housework, school pick-ups and activity drop-offs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a structured yet relaxed environment.
About the Role
The nanny will be responsible for dropping off and collecting the children from school, taking them to after school activities, and providing a supportive, screen-free environment where they can engage in independent play. The role involves household cleaning, chores, meal prep/cooking and laundry.
A Typical Afternoon
* Supervise children in the morning and afternoon
* Drop the children to school
* Collect children from school and drive home or to swimming lessons
* Help with meal preparation and cook meals
* House Cleaning, organising/tidying and laundry
About You
The family is looking for someone who is:
* Reliable, proactive, and supportive
* Comfortable allowing the children to play independently
* Happy to work in a screen-free household
* To speak Spanish (would be a bonus but not essential)
Requirements
* 3+ years experience caring for children
* Driver's license required (a car will be provided for work use)
* Childcare qualifications preferred but not essential
* Experience with cleaning, household tasks and meal prep
* Working With Children Check
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
