We specialise in a variety of accounting services, with a strong focus on Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) and Personal Taxation. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Personal Tax to join our team and lead our personal tax division.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and Lead the existing personal taxation team, ensuring accurate and timely lodgements.
* Oversee the preparation and review of individual tax returns, including complex cases (e.g. high-net-worth individuals, investment income, property portfolios).
* Provide high-level tax advice to clients and support junior staff.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with all ATO requirements and changes in legislation.
* Maintain strong client relationships, with a focus delivering exceptional and timely service.
* Identify process improvements and implement best practices in tax compliance and advisory.
About You
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in personal tax within a public practice environment.
* CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
* Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation.
* Proven leadership and team management experience.
* Excellent communication skills with a client-centric approach.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
