About the role:

The role can be based at either our Balmain (Sydney) office or our Cowandilla (Adelaide) office, with a mix of office-based and on-site support.

Reporting to the IT Helpdesk Manager, this role provides Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across organisational systems, applications, and end-user computing environments. You will support the availability, reliability, and performance of IT services through timely incident resolution, proactive maintenance, and adherence to documented processes.

What you will do:

Reporting to the Help Desk Manager, your primary duties will include:

* Provide timely Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across organisational systems and applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Helpdesk incidents and service requests within agreed service levels, with clear communication and accurate ticket updates
* Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
* Escalate incidents appropriately and support root cause analysis for recurring or major issues
* Create, maintain, and update Helpdesk documentation, procedures, and the IT knowledge base
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support effective IT service delivery
* Liaise with external contractors as required
* Comply with AV policies, practices, and guidelines, supporting a safe, fair, and inclusive workplace

What you will bring:

* IT degree or TAFE qualification, or equivalent practical experience
* Strong knowledge of PC and desktop hardware, including peripherals
* Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and supporting end users
* Solid understanding of current operating systems and common IT standards
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language
* Customer-focused mindset with a practical, problem-solving approach
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and continuously improve
* Experience with JD Edwards, Power BI, or Hubble (Insightsoftware) is advantageous
