Our client based in Perth is looking for a Finance Project Administrator for a temporary period.

Our client based in Perth is looking for a Finance Project Administrator for a temporary period. This is a great opportunity to work within a government department

**Your new role**

As a Finance Project Administrator, you will be responsible for:

- Manage, coordinate, and implement projects assigned through divisional goals and initiatives
- Research and provide business analysis on strategic initiatives and make recommendations for improvements
- Responsible for the Document Management structure of Finance and Business Services information and repository
- Undertake research and analysis of identified special projects as directed by the general manager finance and business services
- Develop a suitable timetable for the annual report
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of an efficient structure of finance directory
- Liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders for the delivery and implementation of special projects
- Provide support to the Financial Accountant when required
- Communicate with the board, CEO, department of treasury, Office of Auditor General, Department of Racing Gaming & Liquor and the Ministers Office to ensure timely delivery of the Minister for tabling in parliament

Ownership of the structure and framework for the company's portal

**What you'll need to succeed**

Experience in the similar position required but also:

- Experience in Finance and financial systems as well as general administration
- Appropriate relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in accounting, commerce, IT and Financial Administration
- Demonstrate experience managing and coordinating projects including the ability to identify, initiate and develop process improvements to improve projects outcomes
- Demonstrate business analysis skills and knowledge
- Experience in planning and business development
- Experience with computerised accounting systems and databased (e.g., FMS)
