Our Finance Manufacturing team at the Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Finance Analyst within the Energy & Carbon team.
This role sits within the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio and supports the Commercial Energy Team to drive optimal commercial outcomes in energy and utilities.

Advantages include health and wellbeing initiatives, Employee Assistance Program, Fitness Passport, discounted healthcare benefits, ongoing training, development and learning opportunities.Applications close Wednesday, 24th September 2025.ResponsibilitiesUse financial expertise to support various functions in managing and minimising energy spend while maintaining a broad internal network; ensure financial elements of business strategies are met.Provide expert financial advice and analysis to assist the business in achieving strategic objectives.Support accounting and reporting processes with a focus on driving consistency and establishing an accounting and reporting centre of excellence.Streamline monthly reporting and forecast processes.Provide insights and data analysis to ensure optimal energy decisions and influence management decisions.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to gather data and understand business requirements.Support various projects and energy optimisation initiatives.About You – QualificationsAs an experienced Finance Analyst, you enjoy partnering and continuous improvement.Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting or related discipline.CPA / CA qualifications or near completion preferred.Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and translating financial information for a broad range of stakeholders.High attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines and conflicting priorities.Why BlueScopeWe're creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions.
