Summary
The Youth Worker will be responsible for promoting the social emotional intellectual and physical development of young people by providing programs and services that support their personal growth and development.
They will work with other professionals, community organizations and parents/guardians to provide a safe, engaging and healthy environment for youth.

In our Residential Care and Emergency Placements programs we provide a safe nurturing environment for children and youth in need of immediate support and long-term stability.

Tasks and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of young people in care while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Each young person has unique needs and goals and you will collaborate with your team to help them achieve these.
Additionally you will be required to manage administrative tasks including updating shift logs and incident reports.
You will also be required to work a range of shifts including mornings, days, afternoons, evenings and sleep overs.
Qualifications & experience
Blue card
Driver's licence
Certificate IV or above in Family Youth Intervention or other relevant qualification
Current First aid and CPR
Hope and Healing
Experience desirable but not essential
Police Check
