The Role
We’re looking for a Regional Manager – Canberra (ACT) to lead and oversee Quayclean’s operations across the ACT region.
This role holds end-to-end responsibility for regional growth, operational performance, safety, people leadership, client relationships and financial outcomes across a diverse portfolio of sites. You will oversee operations across the ACT and provide leadership support to our Jindabyne portfolio, working closely with senior leadership to deliver consistent service excellence.
With strong plans to grow our footprint across the ACT and surrounding regions, this role plays a critical part in shaping Quayclean’s future success in the region.
The role reports directly to the General Manager – NSW.
Given the fast-paced and multi-site nature of the role, the successful candidate must be a strong operational leader and logical problem solver who can make sound commercial decisions, manage competing priorities and lead teams through change while maintaining a strong customer focus.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership across ACT operations and support to the Jindabyne portfolio
* Lead, coach and develop Contract Managers, Supervisors and site teams to deliver high-quality service outcomes
* Ensure all contracts meet agreed KPIs, compliance obligations and customer expectations
* Oversee regional budgets, financial performance, cost control and margin achievement
* Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, company policies and procedures
* Manage mobilisation of new contracts, including people, equipment and operational readiness
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key clients and stakeholders
* Support business growth initiatives and expansion of Quayclean’s footprint in the region
* Provide timely and accurate operational, financial and KPI reporting to senior leadership
* Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement across the region
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in senior operational or regional management roles within a service-based environment
* Sales development and regional growth
* Strong people leadership capability, with experience managing multi-site teams
* Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting and performance management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Experience within cleaning, facilities management or a similar industry (highly desirable)
* Experience interpreting Awards and industrial frameworks (advantageous)
