Youth Camp and Activity Day Supports (Tasmania - mainly Hobart)
* Actively engage and interact with young people during AKKF programs creating an environment of belonging.
* Support young people to participate in activities, building a relationship of trust.
* Participate in program activities, assisting young people as needed.
* Support and follow the directions of the Program Coordinator and Program Assistant in delivering program activities.
* Assist with supervising and organising young people during activities, as directed by the Program Coordinator and Program Assistant.
* Maintain confidentiality of personal details relating to young people and their families.
* Maintain boundaries & confidentiality of your own personal details (i.e., do not share your contact information with young people).
* Understand and adhere to AKKF boundaries across all programs in relation to engaging with young people whilst volunteering with AKKF.
* Report any concerns during face‑to‑face programs regarding any child protection issues to the Program Coordinator or Program Assistant, as soon as practicable. For Connect sessions, report any concerns to the Host (staff member) for that session.
* Help facilitate mental health chat groups during camps and activity days that improve mental health literacy, reduce stigma, outline resources and focus on early intervention/prevention of youth mental illness (after receiving training).

Camps run from 5pm Friday - 2pm Sunday. Activities are usually weekends either half or full days; some activities occur in school holidays or a Friday evening. Connect online sessions are 1 hour long in school terms.
