An excellent opportunity for a State Manager to join this Australian retailer that has some exciting plans over the next 12-18 months.
You will have previous experience as a State Manager, looking to coach and develop your team across 40+ stores in NSW. This is a hands-on role, working shoulder to shoulder with your Area Managers and store teams while looking for opportunities to grow market share.
The role reports to the General Manager of Retail.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Inspirational leadership experience across a multi-site environment
- Deliver on Business and Retail Strategies
- Ensure stores are operational at all times and minimise loss
- Recruitment and onboarding experience
- Solution-focused & creative problem solver
- Develop strong brand awareness for your stores, establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
- Influence, mentor, support and motivate the teams
- Identify potential gaps and lead the change
- Champion customer journey
- Building a strong infrastructure for future success
**To be successful you will have**:
- Strong background in multi-site management within a retail sales culture
- Understanding of Sales process and the customer journey
- Proven experience developing Area Managers
- Highly responsible and passionate about customer service
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work alongside store teams, coaching performance on the floor
- Excellent communication in both written and verbal forms
- Initiative and a hands-on approach
- Confidence to collaborate and share ideas with the National leadership team
