Bring your passion for food and quality to a unique and rewarding environment as a Head Chef at RMC Duntroon (Canberra). This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team while delivering exceptional food and service in a structured and supportive setting. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
The Position
* Full-time role, Monday to Friday, with limited weekend and evening work
* Lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality daily meals and events
* Oversee catering operations, food safety, stock control, and ordering
* Ensure compliance with OH&S and HACCP standards, with a strong focus on waste reduction
* Manage food forecasting, allergen controls, and dietary requirements
The Ideal Candidate
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
* At least 3 years' experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume or structured environment
* Proven leader with experience training, developing, and engaging teams
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergen management
