Central Coast Leagues Club (CCLC) is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. You will join other full-time Kitchen Manager's and collectively be responsible for day-to-day operations and efficiency of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff Management: Supervising kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
* Inventory Management: Monitoring food and supply levels, placing orders, and minimising waste.
* Food Quality & Safety: Ensuring food is prepared and served according to established standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Operational Efficiency: Optimising workflow, managing costs, and contributing to the overall efficiency of kitchen operations.
* Menu Development & Cost Control: May be involved in menu planning, recipe development, and controlling food costs.
* Communication & Collaboration: Working closely with other managers to coordinate activities and ensure smooth service.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Must be willing to share managerial responsibilities alongside other Kitchen Managers as well as take the lead when required.
* Experienced in operational efficiency specifically production processes to ensure consistency and hitting target COGS.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Experience in kitchen operations and food preparation.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Reasonable availability across peak trade
