This role is suited to an educator confident teaching Humanities (Years 7–10) within a high‐performing independent all‐girls school environment in Brisbane's inner suburbs.

About the Role
* Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across allocated year levels, fostering curiosity and critical thinking in subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and related disciplines.
* Plan, prepare, and assess learning programs in alignment with curriculum requirements and school policies, ensuring meaningful and differentiated learning experiences.
* Contribute actively to a collaborative Humanities faculty, sharing resources, participating in curriculum development, and supporting whole‐department initiatives.
* Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their academic progress, wellbeing, and engagement in Humanities learning.
* Participate in broader school activities and responsibilities, including co‐curricular programs, pastoral care duties, and school community events.
About You
* Experienced in teaching Humanities subjects across the secondary years, including History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, or related disciplines.
* Skilled in curriculum design and assessment practices within the Humanities learning area.
* Able to build rapport with students and support positive learning outcomes through engaging, inclusive classroom practice.
* Collaborative, reflective, and committed to contributing to a positive, team‐focused faculty culture.

* Relevant teaching qualification
* Current QCT registration
* Full working rights in Australia
