We’re currently looking for a new team member to assist with spare parts
What will you do in this position?
- Assist with ensuring spare parts requests are responded to in a timely manner
- Manage technician requests via dedicated software, email and over the phone
- Processing supplier shipments and managing stock including stock takes and replenishments
- Develop robust relationships with technicians to ensure excellence in customer service
- processing inwards goods into the business
- ordering and receipting of parts
- Picking and packing parts required for jobs
- Restocking technicians van stocks
- Organising parts, appliances and tools for installations
- Maintaining specialised tool inventory
- Maintain organisation, safety and tidiness of our warehouse
- Collaborate with the spare parts team to achieve best outcomes for customers including identifying and quoting spare parts during peak periods
- Conducting regular stocktakes of warehouse, kits and technicians vans
- Resolving issues within the supply chain
- Identify methods to increase our efficiency
- Maintain inventory using our Simpro software
- Use Microsoft office programs where appropriate
- Picking up parts from suppliers and taking to field staff where required
Skills and experience
- Some previous experience in interpreting spare parts is desirable 
- Customer service focused & willing to assist clients and colleagues
- Ability to multitask, work autonomously and as part of a team
- Must be highly organised, strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Sound computer skills in the use of Outlook and the ability to work across various manufacturers websites
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
- Physically fit as the job involves some manual handling
- Be able to use a walker stacker
- Good communication skills – written & verbal
- Organised, planned & structured
- Intermediate computer skills (Utilise IT resources to be organised and efficient)
- Drivers licence essential
