About the role
We are seeking experienced Cooks to join a young, growing team at the Grand View Hotel in Wentworth Falls, only 30mins from Penrith. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and delivering exceptional food experiences for our guests. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic hospitality environment.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of meals
* Assisting with menu development and implementation
* Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
* Facilitating stock management
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations
* Providing exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for our guests
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role within the hospitality industry
* Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality food
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Enthusiasm for creating innovative and delicious dishes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Food safety and hygiene certification
