This opportunity works with our multidisciplinary mental health team, Medicare Mental Health Centre Muswellbrook and will allow you to:
* Enjoy your work while enhancing skills and knowledge of services available locally
* Work closely with the clinical team to conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate care coordination plans.
* Provide person-centered support to people accessing our services, including information about services available to them and their support networks.
* Provide individual and/or family brief interventions as well as case management.
* Work days across a 7 day roster that can be advantageous to your lifestyle

We are looking for a passionate individual with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar.
* Experience providing high quality customer-centred assessment and support with people with mental health and AOD concerns.
* Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships.
* Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
