Domestic and Family Violence Case Manager
This challenging role requires a dedicated professional to provide support to individuals at risk of, or experiencing, domestic violence.
As a Domestic and Family Violence Case Manager, you will work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality case management, advocacy, and counseling services to clients. Your primary objective will be to facilitate the process of moving women and children towards independent and safe housing.
To excel in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to establish positive and empowering relationships with clients. You must also possess a deep understanding of the issues affecting domestic violence clients and have experience working in related fields such as homelessness or family violence.
A strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, combined with a compassionate approach, is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have:
* A Certificate IV (or higher) in a Human Services-related discipline
* Relevant experience in Homelessness, Domestic/Family Violence, or similar roles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A high level of organization and time management skills
