Responsibilities
* Be the primary liaison for people leaders and executives within a client portfolio, providing subject matter advice, guidance, and building their capability to lead effectively.
* Support the Strategic Business Partner (SBP) to craft and implement the overarching people plan for your client portfolio, track against deliverables, and use data to make pivots gained through insights to enable the business to deliver on strategic priorities.
* Support workforce management planning through role design, role evaluations, and adherence to position and budget controls.
* Case-manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary discussions, grievances, performance management, WHS, and behavioural investigations, escalating complex cases to experts when necessary.
* Partner with P&D teams to deliver tailored solutions for business needs.
* Support the implementation of cultural action plans and track outcomes from key organisational programs.
* Generate and analyse diagnostic reports to identify trends and highlight insights for strategic decision-making.
* Contribute to the wider P&D program of work, including continuous improvement initiatives and organisational projects due to employee cyclical events.
* Ensure annual people processes are communicated, led, and executed effectively within the business.
Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in HR, psychology, or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience providing operational HR advice and managing people-related processes.
* Strong influencing skills to mitigate risks related to behaviours, policies, or processes.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, people plans, and change/transformation initiatives.
* In-depth knowledge of employee and industrial relations frameworks, utilising a consultative and participative approach.
* Awareness of external employment and labour market trends.
* Experience in investigating incidents, managing grievances, and handling industrial relations matters.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to coach, counsel, and develop teams.
* The ability to influence at all organisational levels and challenge the status quo.
* A proactive, results-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
