Project Estimator - Civil, Mining & Earthworks
We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our team. The role involves working on challenging projects, including demolition, bulk earthworks, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc.
Typical project values range from $2.5m to $40m+ with opportunities across civil, mining, bulk earthworks or a mix.
* Prepare and submit tenders
* Evaluate and review tender and estimating process for cost effectiveness
* Negotiate tenders
* Coordinate tender handover to the project team
* Prepare budgets based on tender submission
You will contribute to the successful delivery of these projects with excellent commercial acumen, organisation and time management skills and ability to problem solve effectively.
Key Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
* 5 – 10+ years' management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure. They will also have a strong understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.
