The Opportunity
We're seeking a Prototyping Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of Green Gravity's physical prototyping and demonstration activities.
Reporting to the Program Director, this role sits at the intersection of engineering delivery, learning‑driven development and heavy‑industry execution. You'll coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors and site stakeholders to ensure prototyping activities progress safely, efficiently and with clear learning outcomes.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in technically uncertain environments, enjoys solving complex coordination challenges, and can balance delivery discipline with flexibility as designs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver prototyping projects across mechanical, electrical, controls and software workstreams.
* Develop and maintain integrated project plans reflecting evolving scope, interfaces and learning objectives.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and actively manage interfaces and dependencies.
* Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, fabricators and site owners.
* Coordinate site access, logistics, installation and testing activities.
* Support safe execution of heavy‑industry prototyping, including lifting and installation of large assets.
* Ensure learning objectives, test outcomes and design feedback are captured and communicated.
