Registered Nurse Position
At our healthcare organization, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with physicians and other staff to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care, including immunizations and injections, triage, wound management, chronic disease management, ECGs, and explaining procedures to patients. Additionally, they will assist with care plans and shared health summaries, assist doctors with clinical procedures, and maintain clinical documentation.
* Assist in the coordination of the treatment room, including stock control, sterilization, and maintenance of medical instruments and equipment.
* Implement and practice infection control measures.
* Assist with Reception and Practice Management duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current AHPRA registration is mandatory for this position.
* Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accredited General Practice environment and possess a caring and collaborative approach to patient care.
* Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills are necessary for success in this role.
* Experience with Best Practice programs is desirable but not mandatory.
