Looking to kickstart your career or take it in a whole new direction? Isaac Regional Council is offering an exciting Trainee Administration Officer position within our Community Education & Compliance (CEC) team, based in Moranbah and commencing Monday 19 January

About the role
As a Trainee Administration Officer – CEC, you'll:
* Provide front-line customer service support, both face-to-face and over the phone.
* Learn administration skills such as data entry, filing, records management and correspondence handling.
* Assist with coordinating meetings, workshops and community events.
* Work towards a Certificate in III Business with full training and mentoring support.
The role at a glance
Type: Fixed Term – 12 months
Hours: Full-time, 72.5 hours per fortnight
Roster: Monday to Friday, 9-day fortnight (hello long weekends)
Who we're looking for
You don't need years of experience – just the right attitude and willingness to learn. You'll thrive in this role if you:
* Have strong communication skills and enjoy helping people.
* Are confident using basic computer programs (Microsoft Office).
* Have completed Year 10 or higher.
* Hold a current driver's licence (desirable but not essential).
