* Nurturing and developing existing customers with the objective of growing repeat business
* Prospecting for new customers and finding new accounts and contacts to expand growth
* Plan and execute business development plans to guarantee a healthy funnel creation
* Achieve and exceed business goals for the assigned territory
* Planning, and executing the customer demonstrations with collaboration of the demo lab specialists.
* Collaborating, liaising and providing guidance and support across departments to ensure customer success. You will be working closely with all other groups at Waters (e.g. Applications Support, Marketing, Service, Order Operations);
* Preparing business plans, territory plans, reports, tender documents and relevant product solution documents for customers.
* Planning and prioritising time and sales activities to maximise face to face time in front of customer.
* Managing the product mix and pricing to meet desired targets.
* Adhering to Waters and customers relevant Health, Safety and Environment requirements when on site and as an individual employee.
* Using and updating the CRM on a daily basis to ensure accurate and transparent data sharing.
* Participating in additional Sales related projects and activities as designated by management.
Education:
* Bachelors/master's degree in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
Experience:
* Technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience, ideally in chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry.
* Experience in a laboratory, with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
* Exposure within relevant field/industry.
