**General Information**

**Job Title: Territory Manager - Neuromodulation**

**Department: Commercial**

**Reports to: Director - Neuromodulation Sales & Commercial Excellence**

**Job Context**:
LivaNova Australia and New Zealand represents an organization of around 70 employees. It includes a commercial team of field employees encompassing Sales, Marketing and Service Engineer profiles; employees in office support functions and an Operations team consisting of production, warehouse, engineering and design personnel.

**Job Purpose**:
Achieve overall quarterly and annual sales goal by developing and driving organic patient demand.

Help patients with drug-resistant epilepsy by increasing the market penetration, awareness and adoption of VNS Therapy. This role will be located in Queensland to be able to smoothly manage all the QLD territory. In addition it will also cover SA, although there is a potential for this to change in line with operational optimisation. Potential management of additional territories is on the table as well, with QLD as the permanent state. There will be an occasional requirement to provide National Clinical Case Support coverage for colleagues who are absent.

**Essential Job Functions**:
This role will incorporate - but not be limited to - the following:

- Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of VNS Therapy, its uses, therapy areas & the marketplace to build credibility towards customers.
- Develop and present an annual business plan and quarterly business reviews, account by account for implanting & referring accounts.
- Identify, visit and develop new accounts, physicians, surgeons, neurologists, and nurses that have the potential to implant or to refer patients for implant.
- Visit and further develop existing accounts in order to generate long term sustainable and predictable business.
- Assist customers to identify patients and pull them through to implant, using the available tools.
- Liaise with Patient Support groups and all relevant governmental bodies within your territory to foster awareness of the VNS therapy and to ensure reimbursement continuity and optimization of reimbursement.
- Organize and attend training and meetings with health care professionals to enhance the knowledge of the VNS for Epilepsy and to ensure optimal treatment is provided.
- Support surgical cases when necessary.
- Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports including planning, activities, patient pipeline and forecasts to enable close monitoring of the defined goals and readjust strategy if required.
- Monitor and check all stock held by the accounts on a regular basis and submit a monthly report to avoid unused or lost products.
- Control and monitor all your expenses and submit monthly expense claims.
- Complete administrative and training requirements on time and accurately.
- Sign and act conform to all the internal policies set out.
- Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor.

**Minimum requirements and qualifications**:

- Proven track record of successful sales results in a medical devices sales role.
- Selling experience in a medical field, preferably in a consultative role (e.g. Neuroscience Sales, HIV Sales, Oncology Sales, Diabetes Nurse Educators), where daily accountabilities are established, measured and rewarded.
- Degree qualifications in a field science and/or business field.
- Ability to work autonomously, be self-driven and highly motivated.
- Triple Covid vaccination status, with adherence to any additional updates to Emergency Management Direction.

**Travel Requirements**:

- This position will require periodic business travel in relation to internal meetings, congresses and case support. Occasional after-hours territory support and weekend
