About the Role
This opportunity will see you drive the development and delivery of industry and community projects designed to strengthen career pathways for Skills & Job Centre (SJC) clients, students and broader community members. You’ll champion collaboration across The Gordon, while building trusted relationships with industry partners, community organisations, employment providers and education networks.
Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Provide leadership and direction across multiple teams, including Apprenticeship Support Officers, the Reconnect Program and the Inclusive Pathways Mentor.
* Lead community and industry pathway projects generating meaningful employment and education outcomes.
* Build and deepen partnerships across industry, community agencies and referral networks to support aligned and effective service delivery.
* Oversee engagement tools including the Career Hub CRM system to ensure accurate and impactful information and to connect clients and students with local jobs.
* Manage program funding, budgets and performance, ensuring full compliance with State and Commonwealth requirements.
* Drive ongoing promotion, marketing and communications for SJC programs, lifting visibility, referrals and engagement.

About You:
You’re someone who lifts others, connects naturally and sees opportunity where others see barriers. You bring experience, insight and confidence from sectors such as adult education, employment services, careers, HR, recruitment or community services — and you understand how people navigate education and employment support systems to transition into meaningful work.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
* Bring experience supporting people into training or employment and understand how strong pathways are built.
* Are a natural connector who builds real partnerships across industry, training providers and community agencies.
* Identify client needs quickly and turn insights into innovative, outcome?driven projects delivered on time and on budget.
* Communicate with clarity, influence and confidence while engaging stakeholders at all levels.
* Possess leadership capability to guide project delivery, support teams and negotiate effectively.
* Are adaptable, self?driven and collaborative, with a mindset centred on delivering outstanding client experiences.
* Use digital tools easily, think critically and apply sound judgement.
* Hold relevant tertiary qualifications (Community Services, Education/Training, HR, Career Development or similar) or equivalent hands?on experience.

Salary Range:
PACCT Level 7 - $95,388 - $108,306 + Superannuation
