BIG4 Anglesea Holiday Park is looking for an enthusiastic, full-time Maintenance Person / Carpenter capable of a diversified role focused on the ongoing repairs and maintenance of all buildings.
This hands-on role provides a great opportunity to work autonomously whilst having support and guidance from the Facilities and Grounds Manager and the opportunity to work in collaboration with other staff. You will be highly motivated and capable of providing a high level of craftmanship, oversight, leadership, and forward planning.

Responsibilities
* All repairs and scheduled upkeep of all accommodation and building facilities
* General handyman works ("Jack of all Trades")
* Painting and plastering
* Tiling
* Minor plumbing
* Booking and scheduling other trades
* Respond to urgent facility related issues in a timely manner
* Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, pool cleaning and water quality scheduling
About You
* Previous experience working as a carpenter or at least 5 years domestic maintenance experience
* Fit, healthy and well presented.
* Excellent communication skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
* Team player who is collaborative and can also work with limited supervision
* An organised, strategic planner who can also show agility in responding to last minute customer needs and maintenance requirements
* Basic phone and computer skills
* Available Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work and public holidays on a rotating roster
