About the Role

We have two exciting Clinical Educator opportunities, for two highly experienced Physiotherapists to join the Acute Allied Health Services team.

As a Clinical Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high quality patient centred care through teaching, training and education of students and staff. You will ensure the successful coordination, planning and delivery of acute student placements from the University of Canberra and other University partners with clinical staff. Working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team and Senior Clinicians, you will facilitate and provide staff with learning opportunities, formal supervision and further acquisition of knowledge, skills and reasoning to enhance care of patients across the Acute Allied Health Service.

These are rewarding and exciting positions that are suitable for two physiotherapists with a solid background in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. The successful candidates will have exceptional communication and engagement skills to ensure the successful delivery of education to staff and students. Previous experience as a clinical educator is highly desirable, however not essential.

* Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
* Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
* Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.

Note: There are one Permanent Full-Time and one Temporary Part-Time Positions available. The temporary position is available for 11.5 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. The full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.

A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.
