**The Role**
Our Taxation Group is a leading Australian legal tax practice acting for a wide range of clients from listed companies to smaller enterprises. They also provide specialist taxation advice to a large number of accountants, lawyers and financial planners in relation to a range of taxes including GST, income, FBT, CGT and land tax.
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join the McCullough Robertson Tax team, initially supporting one partner, three lawyers and one paralegal. As part of your role, some of your general duties will include:
- Proactive diary management and meeting coordination with clients, key industry stakeholders and internal management;
- Document drafting, amendment and management;
- Management of monthly client reporting and billing;
- Opportunity to play a key role in the team's CRM - tracking key relationships with key accountants;
- Provide overflow support in the Entities space; and
- Working with the other Legal Assistants within the team.
**Experience**
You will ideally have at least two to three years' experience as a Legal Assistant, with experience supporting a busy team and helping to manage competing priorities. You will also have strong attention to detail and organisational skills. You will be proactive, resilient and self-motivated. Litigation experience would also be advantageous for this role.
