Commercial Operations Manager
The Commercial Operations Manager will oversee major customer contracts and key suppliers during transformation and business-as-usual phases. This role involves contract negotiation, resolving commercial disputes, managing contract implementation, and preparing contract variations.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead complex customer and supplier negotiations to optimize the company's commercial, financial, and contractual position.
* Act as a point of contact for contract scope interpretation and deliverables.
* Provide contractual advice to internal and external stakeholders.
* Review and approve contract variations.
* Manage contract updates and agreement changes.
* Identify and analyze key risks to contract implementation.
* Develop commercial risk mitigation strategies.
* Resolve commercial disputes with customers and suppliers.
* Establish and maintain high-level relationships within the organization and with customers.
* Collaborate with procurement, operations, legal, and delivery groups on business opportunities.
* Support finance and project managers to ensure efficient contract delivery and cost reduction initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in business or legal discipline.
* Solid experience in a commercial environment with superior negotiation skills.
* Knowledgeable in delivering large technology projects.
* Comprehensive understanding of commercial contract clauses and contract law.
