Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst - Patient Revenue & Hospital Costing
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and informing the reporting and analytic solutions for the Patient Revenue and Digital Health team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inform the reporting and analytic solutions for the Patient Revenue and Digital Health team, in particular this relates to patient revenue and hospital costing, aligned areas of hospital performance.
* Develop revenue models to support health fund negotiations.
* Direct and lead the management of Power Performance Manager (PPM) internal costing processes and margin analysis.
* Develop data quality audits and reconciliations for all inputs in Costings systems.
* Maintain documentation of data sources, cost allocation rules, and revenue mappings.
* Complete ad hoc project work and outline clear and concise reports and insights.
Requirements:
* Tertiary education in a related field (e.g. business, accounting, law, health administration).
* Minimum 5 years experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of case mix and health fund payment arrangements in the Australian Health sector.
* High level of analytical skills.
* Ability to interpret and analyse large complex data sources.
* Strong professional manner; focused commercial acumen and operational emphasis to deliver on time.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the broader health care sector as a 'subject matter expert' with an understanding of the health sector.
* The ability to work within a values-based organization. Demonstrated IT skills preferably with SAP and advanced MS Excel capabilities.
