The Venue General Manager will be responsible for managing large teams of hospitality crew, utilizing effective delegation through department heads to influence multiple departments. They will also engage, understand, and build relationships with the community and local businesses.

* 3-5 years exp. Venue/General Management experience from a large multi-faceted hospitality venue
* Proven ability in managing large teams of 70+ hospitality crew
* Sound financial management skills
* Able to maintain the balance of being an excellent delegator and a hands-on leader
* An ability to engage, understand & build relationships with the community and local businesses
About This Role:
The Venue General Manager will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and will be part of the senior leadership team. They will oversee the entire venue, including food and beverage operations, events, marketing, and human resources.
Responsibilities:
* Oversight of all venue operations, including food and beverage, events, marketing, and human resources
* Management of a team of six Heads of Department, including department heads, supervisors, and front-line staff
* Financial planning and budgeting, including forecasting revenue and expenses
* Regulatory compliance, including health and safety, employment laws, and environmental regulations
* Community engagement and building relationships with local businesses
