This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead a small HR team while partnering with leaders to provide practical, compliant, and people-centred HR advice. Covering a maternity leave, you will shape employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and operational HR processes, while mentoring and upskilling your team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to deliver high-quality HR outcomes
* Provide ER/IR support, manage sensitive workplace investigations, and guide leaders through performance and conduct matters
* Support workforce planning, remuneration, and succession initiatives
* Drive process improvements and encourage self-service where appropriate
* Maintain accurate HRIS and personnel records for compliance and reporting
About You
* Proven experience leading a team in ER/IR or operational HR
* Skilled at influencing leaders and developing teams
* Comfortable in structured, policy-driven or unionised environments
* Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and improvement-minded
