Forty Winks' is seeking Retail Sales Consultants for Casual roles in our dynamic Sales Teams in the Beckenham/Cannington area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering an exceptional customer experience and contributing to the overall success of our retail store. As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store presentation, and supporting the broader retail operations.
What you'll be doing
· Providing exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions
· Assisting with the presentation and merchandising of the store to create an inviting and visually appealing shopping environment
· Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and stock management
· Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our product range and being able to effectively communicate the features and benefits to customers
· Supporting the store team with daily operational tasks, such as restocking, housekeeping, and administrative duties
· Adhering to company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
What we're looking for
· Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the home furnishings or lifestyle industry
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
· A genuine passion for the retail industry and a keen interest in home furnishings and interior design trends
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of store presentation
· Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required
· A positive, enthusiastic, and teamwork-oriented attitude
